Long post lol! ….Really enjoying this book. When I was younger I was #vegetarian for 10 years and then over the past 5 years I’ve been #plantbased then #pescatarian then vegetarian but I’m ready to make the leap to be #plantbased When I was vegetarian I was the heaviest and unhealthiest I’ve ever been. I developed #cysticbreast disease which they said was only possible in older women. This was extremely scary. To find a big lump and wait on a hospital bed to find out what it could be. I was referred for further investigation. Unexpectedly, I was advised to eliminate all dairy products and #caffeine by a nurse and it completely cleared within weeks. I was later told by another medical professional that the nurse was incorrect to offer me advice. I wasn’t complaining though - I was free from huge lumps! I am so glad she did! I am now a big believer in diet being able to cure illness. My nan and her sister both had chronic #rheumatoidarthritis, my nan cured herself by diet my aunt took the #medicine route and continued to be riddled and in a lot of pain. When I was plant based I again gained #weight I just loved all the vegan options but learnt that these aren’t necessarily healthy #processed #fat #plasticpackaging and turns out #crisps #chips #chocolate and #wine don’t help either! 🤦🏻‍♀️#thestarchsolution by #drmcdougall is #lowfat plantbased #wholefoods approach which I love as it is #ecofriendly #lowbudget and I can get a lot of it from the #refillableshop I’ve included a photo of the last thing I ate last night. Since 2005 I’ve know that dairy makes me poorly. Still had it 🤦🏻‍♀️went to bed with upset tummy and woke with the familiar congestion this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t drink #dairy and haven’t done for a long time but it slips in there in occasional #cheese and #treats This mornings breakfast #almondmilk #banana #oats cinnamon ☺️Happy 1st of September ❤️ #autumgoals🍁 #autumnbringschange
